Egy középkori jogtudós glosszátor: Johannes Cremonensis

A tanulmány célja az egyik legjelentősebb XII-XIII. századi bolognai jogtudós, Johannes Cremonensis (más néven Johannes Bassianus) alakjának és jogtudományi munkásságának bemutatása. A szerző a tanulmány első felében bemutatja Johannes Cremonensis, bolognai jogtudós professzor alakját és egyetemi pályafutását. A tanulmány második fő részében áttekintést kaphatunk arról, hogy Johannes Cremonensis, aki Bulgarus tanítványa volt, milyen műveket írt, milyen középkori kéziratok maradtak fenn a neve alatt, milyen művei jelentek meg eddig nyomtatott kiadásban, illetőleg ezek közül a kutatások jelenlegi állása szerint melyeket tulajdoníthatunk nagy bizonyossággal neki.

A medieval glossator of the learned law: Johannes Cremonensis

The aim of this study is to give a comprehensive survey on the figure and works of one of the most famous medieval glossator of the learned law: Johannes Cremonensis (known also as Johannes Bassianus). In the first half of the paper, the author introduces the figure and academic career of Johannes, a Bologna law professor. In the second part of the main part of the paper, an overview is given of the works written by John, who was a pupil of Bulgarus, the medieval manuscripts that have survived under his name, the works that have appeared in print, and which of these, according to the current state of research, can be attributed to him with a high degree of certainty.
